There are a lot of things I liked about this blog, and a lot of things I’ve always thought should be improved on. This theme, for example, was not the wisest of all choices due to its very narrow, fixed width. Getting images to fit into the margins and remain big enough to actually enjoy has always been a struggle. At times, too, this alone has discouraged me from posting because I do enjoy adding media to my posts from time to time.
The time for sitting idling and seeing the grass is greener on the other side has ended, and I am now self hosting this blog! I have a new theme, and an awesome domain name to boot: thearcanery.com! I am hosting through Go-Daddy because they were cheap, well known, and I figured I would give them a shot. It’s not shabby at all- 10 bucks a year for the domain (the URL) and 4.99 a month for hosting. I definitely can handle that.
Anyway, I welcome you to make the transition with me over to the new website. Any differences between this blog and the next will all be explained. For any of you subscribed through my Feedreader, the work is done for you, I have redirected the feed to my new website. For those of you who simply have me bookmarks, again, the new URL is: http://thearcanery.com
If I loose some of you in the transition, I thank for reading while you did, and hope that someday in the future you may find yourself (even if by misclick) back with me at my new home.
